I'm kind of dissapointed in myself that I didn't submit anything Escaflowne related more frequently, especially since it has always been one of my guilty pleasures ever since I started watching the anime when I was a kid. Regardless of my change in taste in anime over the years, I've always found myself going back to this despite that fact. To be honest I've only ever watched the anime in fragments, since I had neither the finances nor the time it seemed to seek out to compile the episodes. Only recently have I actually sat down and watched the whole series. Which had an even better story line than my own little mind had conjured up.
Technically, this was the first anime that actually started my whole obsession. [And dare I say-- Van was the first anime character that I fancied as a little girl?]
I noticed that I hadn't really been putting up much for content lately and so this what has been recently on my mind. And I LOVED coming up for new designs for Van's outfit, considering I've been playing heaps of Tera, and their outfits are brilliant for inspiration.
I'm running out of things to say, and I'm exhausted, so I'll leave you all with this. I may try drawing more of him later. We'll see.
