As of right now my shop is on hiatus as I catch up on orders, but when I get back you will notice some changes. As of today I have removed some of my listed items, those being most cosplay items such as:
- Assassin's Creed Missaglias Armor
-Dishonored Bone Charms (Original and framed displays)
-Dishonored Rune Charms (Original and framed displays)
-Dishonored Baldrics
-Bioshock Vigors
I realize that a large fraction of my viewer base on my shop was dependent on these items as they were very popular and I apologize for any all all inconveniences this new change might instill.
The thing is that when ClockworKim started, it was a small one-man process that only family and friends purchased from. It was about making jewelry, something that was completely from my head and was more my original idea that anyone else's. When I was doing video game merchandise it became less about my ideas and more about someone else's vision. Some people may argue that I interpreted these pieces to my styles but at the end of the day it I am left with the undisputed feeling that I am still only merely following a guideline instead of following my own artistic vision. There's no pride there.
So expect to see some changes. I will be going back to jewelry crafting (and I may look more into making more original armor pieces as well).

Update: Rebranding!
Formerly TheMonocleComplex here! So awhile back on Tumblr I said I was going to be re-branding my handle and I have finally gotten to a point where I am able to do so. I figured I would also do so here so that it is easier to associate my media all under one name. So I am officially reintroducing it here: you will find my username as Ranger-26!!! I’ve been using Ranger 26 for awhile now as my cosplay persona, and I find that I have widely better success for people being able to remember me by this handle (and they are generally less confused about the meaning of it) than as Monocle/Monocle Complex.
I will still be posting the same kind
Convention Update: cosplay photos inbound!
The Circe Sisters have returned!!!
As is usual for this time of year we attended a cosplay convention and have just come back from a weekend of tomfoolery. I have many photos from the photo-shoot to post and will try to have one out daily! If you're interested in some candid shots however, pop on by to our Facebook page, we have quite a few!!
IMPORTANT: I got a Tumblr Account!
And here it is: http://themonoclecomplex.tumblr.com/
I wrote a post on there detailing my reasons for finally making one, but suffice to say, with any art site there's a lot that I love about it, and an equal amount that I don't like about DeviantArt.
You will probably see me more active on my Tumblr rather than my DA, seeing how there is more of an interactive element to this site. However, this does NOT mean that I am abandoning DA altogether. As of right now I'm just getting out there and trying new things.
Bonus content you'll see on my Tumblr:
- Collaborations and trades that I initiate with friends are more accessible.
- You'll get
Printed Books for my Personal Archives!
I found that I will sometimes get nostalgic and look at some of my old art I drew before I switched to digital. Like most artists, I feel like my old stuff is utter crap, but I still love looking at it from time-to-time just to see how I've improved and changed in my style. So I had an idea of printing out some books of my old archived digital art as a permanent reminder of how things looked when I first started!!!
A little note: The years overlap because I initially printed out the smaller book first and did not account for some art I had saved elsewhere. When I began printing the second, much larger book, my organizing was more refined and
